The ACC Cougars hockey team upended the Dakota College-Bottineau Lady Jacks 2-1 to claim the ACHA Women’s D2 National Championship. Simone Turner & Alecia Simpson scored for ACC while Megan Beswitherick picked up the win in net. Turner was named Tournament MVP, the second time she has won the award at the tournament. The Cougars went 5-0 at the national championship which was played in St Louis this year.
