Ahren Belisle scheduled to bring his comedy to Brandon this November
Brandon audiences will have an opportunity to see a comedian who has made a name for himself on some of North America’s biggest comedy and entertainment stages when Ahren Belisle comes to the city on November 19.
Belisle, who gained national attention as a Top 10 finalist on America’s Got Talent, will bring his stand-up comedy show to Houstons in Brandon as part of his Canadian tour.
The comedian has also become well known to comedy fans through appearances on Kill Tony, the popular live comedy podcast hosted by comedian Tony Hinchcliffe.
Belisle has developed a distinctive approach to stand-up, using speech-synthesis technology as part of his performances. Born with cerebral palsy, Belisle is non-speaking and communicates using technology, incorporating it directly into his comedy rather than allowing it to stand in the way of his career.
His appearances on America’s Got Talent helped introduce him to a much larger audience, while his performances on Kill Tony have further established him as a recognizable name in the comedy community.
Originally from Northern Ontario, Belisle previously worked as a software engineer before pursuing comedy full-time. He has since built a significant following online, where his comedy clips have reached millions of viewers.
For Brandon audiences, the November 19 show offers a chance to see Belisle’s stand-up in a live setting and experience the material that has helped make him a rising name in comedy.
The event is being presented by The Diamond Mine Agency at Houstons. Doors are scheduled to open at 5:30 p.m., with the show beginning at 6 p.m. Tickets and additional event information are available here.
