At approx. 12:45 AM today, police attempted to stop a vehicle in the area of the 1200 block of Lorne Ave. The driver abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot but was apprehended after a short foot pursuit. Once located, the driver was identified and found to be prohibited from driving and in breach of his court ordered undertaking. The 36-year-old Brandon man was held at BPS for court today. The 26-year-old female passenger of Russell MB was also breaching conditions of her release. She will appear in court today as well.
