The reunion of the summer is happening this June! Countryfest Homecoming 2024 invites all music enthusiasts, families, and friends to join in the celebration of 35 years of musical heritage and community spirit. Set against the picturesque backdrop of Canada’s most beautiful outdoor amphitheatre on the edge of Riding Mountain National Park, this year's festival promises to be a journey back in time, echoing the cherished memories of the 90s while embracing the vibrant energy of the present. From June 28th to June 30th, 2024, festival-goers will experience an unforgettable lineup of artists, bringing together the best of country, folk, rock, and everything in between.Whether you're reminiscing about the tunes of the past or discovering new favorites, #CFEST2024 has something for everyone. Beep! Beep! Touch-a-Truck returns to Keystone Center Grounds

Touch-A-Truck Brandon returns to the grounds at the Keystone Centre on June 1, 2024. Touch-A-Truck Brandon is a unique fundraiser that is an interactive, outdoor, family friendly experience, allowing kids to “touch”, climb, explore and discover all kinds of vehicles in a safe environment. A large variety of trucks are on-hand every year including construction, farm, heavy-duty, and emergency vehicles. Once again there will be a QUIET HOUR from 9am-10am, free of sirens, music and honking for those who need it. A canteen serving hotdogs, burgers, bannock dogs, chips and drinks will also be on-hand. The cost is only $5 per person and payable in cash at the gate. Date/time: Saturday, June 1st 2024 from 9-4

WoofJocks Canine All Stars to make special appearance at Fusion Credit Union

Fusion Credit Union, a proud Platinum Sponsor of the Royal Manitoba Winter Fair, invites the public, and all media to a special appearance of the WoofJocks Canine All Stars’. The canines will be greeting the public at the Fusion Credit Union Brandon Branch on Friday, March 22nd from 12:00 to 12:45 pm. “The WoofJocks Canine All Stars’ are back in town to perform at the Royal Manitoba Winter Fair and will be making a special appearance at our Brandon branch on Friday,” says Mike Csversko, Business Development and Marketing Manager at Fusion Credit Union. “The public is invited to stop by the branch, meet the dogs and have their picture taken. ”Fusion Credit Union has a long-standing partnership with the Provincial Exhibition of Manitoba and has been a Platinum Sponsor of the Royal Manitoba Winter Fair for six years. Their partnership symbolizes a shared commitment to supporting local initiatives such as the Royal Manitoba Winter Fair. “The winter fair has deep roots in the Westman communities, and we’re thrilled to be back again this year supporting the event,” states Csversko. The WoofJocks Canine All Stars’ show takes place each afternoon during the Royal Manitoba Winter Fair. After the show, Fusion hosts a Meet and Greet in Salon A, where fair attendees can meet the dogs and have their picture taken. In addition to the Meet and Greet, Fusion will have a booth in the UCT Pavilion. “We have some fun activities planned at the booth and encourage everyone to stop by, play a game and win a prize,” says Csversko. Western Canada Rib Fest tour sets Brandon dates, location

Get ready for a finger-lickin’, lip-smackin’ good time, the Western Canaa Rib Fest tour returns to the Riverbank Discovery Centre for three days in May. The annual event is an opportunity for BBQ lovers to enjoy delicious ribs hot off the rack from award winning and professional circuit BBQ experts. In addition to the ribs an assortment of other tasty items can usually be found on the menu’s including juicy chicken, delectable sausages, sweet and savory pulled pork, and a number of accompanying side dishes. In past years, the event also featured a beer tent, live music and a kids zone. The first RibFest in Brandon was held at the Riverbank Discovery Centre in August of 2017. No word, as of yet, as to who the participating “ribbers” will be in 2004. Friday & Saturday May 24-25, 2024 -11am-9pm Sunday May 26, 2024- 11am-7pm Admission: Free
