Meandher Creek Pumpkin Patch opens tomorrow

Meandher Creek Pumpkin Patch, located in Oak Lake, opens for the season tomorrow at noon. They offer a variety of fun family ticketed attractions including an air cannon, corn trails, a duck race, horse-drawn hayrides, a haunted barn, mini golf, and a zip-line. Gate admission is only $6 and includes access to numerous attractions like the giant corn box, a giant bale pyramid, a giant sand box, and pictures with the pumpkins. Parking is free and a concession is available on weekends. School tours are available Thursdays and Fridays while birthday parties are available on Saturdays and Sundays. Hit Queen musical We Will Rock You coming to Brandon

Queen fans rejoice! We Will Rock You is coming to Westoba Place, January 26, 2020. While WE WILL ROCK YOU is a quirky, eccentric and heartfelt story of outsiders, it’s also a creative cautionary tale for the cyberage. It reflects the scale and spectacle that marked Queen’s live performances and earned the band its pinnacle position in rock history. Food Truck Warz welcomes food truck serving authentic African food

Making their debut at Brandon's Food Truck Warz in 2019 is the Simba Safai Grill who specialize in African-inspired dishes. Their African dishes are made with authentic Kenyan and African spices and seasonings. The seasonings are not spicy in taste, but in flavor. Simba Safari Grill participates in many fairs and festivals within and outside of Manitoba including Folk Fest (Winnipeg), Osborne Village Canada Day Street Celebration (Winnipeg), and Manyfest (Winnipeg). They are also the 2016 Food Truck Wars winner in Winnipeg for "best bang for your buck." You will love the flavorful menu items you will find at Simba Safari Grill. The mouth watering Serengeti Chicken (Chicken marinated with authentic African spices then simmered) and the MOKIMO (Mashed Potatoes, Peas and Corn seasoned with herbs) will have you lining up for more. This truck offers a wide array of gluten free and vegetarian dishes as well.

17th Annual Rotary Westman Wine Festival

The Rotary Westman Wine Festival takes place on October 16th & 18th, 2019 at the Victoria Inn.  The elegant Gala Dinner showcases several carefully chosen wines, pairing them with creative, au courant courses.
