Food truck festivals have become vibrant cultural events that bring communities together through the universal language of food. As a result, organizers of this year's event are pleased to announce the return of Indigenous Eats to the 2024 roster of food trucks who will be in attendance. Indigenous Eats launched in July of 2021 as a project of the Brandon Friendship Centre and they have pleased audiences at festivals and events throughout Westman ever since. From bannock bison burgers and smokies to taco in a bag, this truck celebrates the rich culinary heritage of Indigenous peoples. Each dish tells a story. This year's event will take place at the Keystone Centre from September 13 to September 15, featuring 28 food trucks offering a diverse range of dishes from BBQ to BeaverTails and pasta to poutine. Alongside the delicious food, the festival will also include amusement rides provided by Select Shows, making it a family-friendly event that also supports local non-profit organizations such as Westman Dreams for Kids

Food Truck Warz is set to make a triumphant return to Brandon, Manitoba in 2024. The popular event will once again take place at the Keystone Centre, bringing a wide array of culinary delights to food enthusiasts from September 13 to September 15. This year's festival will once again feature 28 food trucks, offering a variety of dishes from BBQ to BeaverTails, and pasta to poutine, ensuring there is something for everyone. Several new food trucks will be making their debut at the annual festival, adding a diverse array of cuisine to an already stacked lineup. In addition to the plethora of food food options, attendees can look forward to amusement rides provided by Select Shows, adding an extra layer of fun for both children and adults. This family-friendly event also supports local non-profit organizations, including Westman Dreams for Kids, making it a great opportunity for the community to come together for a good cause​. Admission to Food Truck Warz is $5 per person, with children 12 and under entering for free. Parking is free, and it's a cash-only event at the gate. Blue Haze BBQ claims 2023 Food Truck Warz crown

Blue Haze Barbecue received the most votes en route to capturing the "Fan Favorite" title at Brandon's Food Truck Warz in 2023. It was the first win at the Brandon event for the Beausejour, MB vendor. A week earlier in Winnipeg, Blue Haze BBQ had been named “Best Food Truck” at Food Truck Battles held at the Assiniboia Downs. Food Truck Warz judges crowned Los Brothers Street Food as the "Best Bang For Your Buck'. It was the 6th year Food Truck Warz has taken place in the city.
