Lil Creek Photo & Video: Offering Traditional & Virtual Sports Team Photography including custom print products

At Lil Creek Photo & Video one of their principal services is sports team photography. Owner Brooke Clayton has been photographing a variety of sporting events (hockey, baseball, softball and soccer) in and around Brandon since graduating from the Prairie View School of Photography in 2015. Lil Creek Photo & Video utilizes green screen photography and Photoshop, allowing Brooke to take traditional hockey images on the ice or do something a bit more modern off the ice as shown in some of her work below. She will work quickly and efficiently, especially if she is there during a practice time. An entire team can be photographed in about 15 minutes which includes a few individual poses of each player and the team photo. With her years of experience photographing children as well as her knowledge of the sports she photographs, she can get natural poses that suits the players and the game. Currently she offers four different packages to choose from. Her most popular package this year contains a Memory Mate (a team photo & individual on an 8x10 collage) and 2-5x7 individual prints, with a savings of $5. Additional products include everything from print packages to custom products like memory mates, magazine covers, trader cards, magnets, bag tags, key-chains and then your standard team photo as well as 8x10, 5x7, 4x6 and wallet size prints. Teams have the option to order online or with a traditional order form. Lil Creek Photo & Video also accepts credit cards as well as e-transfers, cheques and cash payments. The company is based out of Brandon and is willing to travel within a 200km radius of Brandon To see more of her work and other services (wedding, family, graduation, newborn, school portraits) she offers, please go to www.lilcreek-photovideo.ca or find the company on Facebook or Instagram at Lil Creek Photo & Video.

Westman Communications Group (Westman Communications) is excited to announce the second annual #ConnectingWestman Tour, kicking off June 2020. The 2019 Tour was a smashing success, and we look to build on the momentum in 2020. “The #ConnectingWestman Tour is an initiative that raises funds together with the community for the benefit of a local cause and is something that we knew we wanted to make an annual event,” said Marketing Manager Courtney Baxter. The success of our first Tour proved that this was something our communities really enjoyed and that we could carry on for years to come.” This year, Westman Communications staff will hit the highway and make a trio of stops in the communities we are proud to serve. The Tour will kick off in Neepawa on June 17, before heading to Roblin on July 15 and wrapping up in Dauphin on August 5. Westman Communications, WCGtv, and Westman Communications Business Solutions, along with STAR FM, and Q Country 91.5 FM will be hosting barbeques, supporting local charities, and open houses to allow customers to preview Westman Communications services and ask questions. As a bonus, Trent B, co-host of the Q country morning show, will deliver treats to people hard at work in these towns. WCGtv will be touring the community capturing all the action of the day. “We are proud to support local and the communities in which we serve,” explained Baxter. “Being able to go to different communities each year with the #ConnectingWestman Tour makes us feel more connected to our customers, and the local fundraising causes that matter to them.” The 2019 #ConnectingWestman Tour took Westman Communications to Killarney, Russell, and Virden. With the support of those communities, a total of over $15,000 was raised for local charities, including the Killarney – Turtle Mountain Fire Department, the Russell Airport & Flying Club, and the Virden Spray Park. Kinsmen Jackpot Bingo hits estimated $500,000+ jackpot

Kinsmen Jackpot Bingo continues this Saturday (January 18, 2020) with an estimated jackpot prize of $500,000+ (50 numbers or less). With that type of prize on the line it's no secret that tickets have become a hot commodity and extremely difficult to get your hands on. According to their Facebook page sales to retailers have jumped from 300 orders for the December 28th game to 2500+ orders for the January 18th game. For many local retailers they sell out as soon as the tickets arrive at their door. Ticket sales were so brisk for this week's draw that Jiffy Food & Video had to place an order for additional tickets when their first order (250 tickets) sold out in less than 30 minutes. Owner Dave Lindenberg tells bdnmb.ca that he is expecting a second batch of tickets to arrive later today or tomorrow. He went on to say that in the 20 years he has been selling the tickets he has never seen anything like this. Shopper's Drug Mart, Superstore Lotto Kiosk, Walmart Lotto Kiosk, and Heritage Co-Op are among the other retailers in Brandon listed as selling the tickets. Kinsmen Jackpot Bingo airs a LIVE broadcast every Saturday night at 5:30 pm on CTV where it has been airing for the past 40 years.
