Chez Angela's Bakery (29-10th Street, Unit C ) has been named as one of the 9 super-tasty restaurants, bakeries and cafes that you need to check out in Manitoba this winter by Travel Manitoba.  The popular downtown bakery opened in late July and features fresh-baked goods made by hand with locally-sourced ingredients.

Canadian lingerie retailer La Vie en Rose will be opening a location inside the Brandon Shoppers Mall on Friday, January 11th.  The popular brand produces and sells a range of undergarments, sleepwear, everyday essentials and swimwear for women.  Plans to open a location in the Shoppers Mall were announced in late June.

The annual Grey Owl restaurant at Assiniboine Community College is a symphony of sights, smells and flavours. Students and faculty come together to present a fusion of nouvelle and classic cuisine in the historic Grey Owl dining room of the Manitoba Institute of Culinary Arts on the North Hill campus.
