Two Brandon men sleeping inside stolen car get arrested

On April 4, 2019, at 7:09am police responded to a Break & Enter of a residence in the 500’ block of Louise Ave. Suspects had entered an unlocked door and stole numerous items including keys to the homeowner’s vehicle. At 07:28am the vehicle was located running on the lawn of an apartment building in the 700’ block of 9th Street with a 31 year old male and a 36 year old male asleep inside. Also inside the vehicle was property from the Break & Enter. Both men were intoxicated. The 31 year old was arrested for Break, Enter & Theft, Theft of Motor Vehicle, Theft Under $5000, as well as Care and Control of a Motor Vehicle while Impaired by Drug. He was lodged at BCC to be released once sober for court on April 11, 2019. The 36 year old man was arrested for Break, Enter & Theft, and Theft under $5000. He was also lodged at BCC to be released once sober for court on May 30, 2019
