No, admission is FREE to the general public. There will a $2.00 (per vehicle) daily parking fee with all money raised going to support the John Howard Society of Brandon.

We have a wide range of food trucks participating including BBQ, dessert, Ukrainian, El Salvadoran, Mexican, Japanese fusion, Caribbean, Jamaican and pizza. We also have trucks who serve poutine, traditional fair food, healthy food, and one who specializes in chicken wings. A full list of vendors will be updated as the event draws nearer.

Individual food items will be priced anywhere from $5-$20. The trucks will be offering their own regular menu items and setting their own prices.

Please remember that each food truck only has 2-3 people working inside therefore it will take longer than a “normal drive-thru” to get your order. The wait is well worth it.

No, all ages are welcome as this is a family oriented event designed for everyone to enjoy and share.

No, outside food or beverage is not allowed inside the event. One of our objectives was to have a wide range of food trucks onsite to match everyone’s tastes.

There will be some seating. The City of Brandon will be providing additional picnic tables and the Riverbank Discovery Centre does have some permanent seating as well.

Yes, there will be a fan ballot for guests to vote for their favourite truck. At the end of the event one truck will be named the “Fan Favourite” of Food Truck Warz 2018.

Food Truck Warz is a rain or shine event.

Several of the trucks accept debit/Visa/MasterCard however for the most part cash will be the preferred method of payment for each truck.

Yes, the plan is to have several ATM’s on-site.

There will be a family carnival featuring thrill rides and games from Select Shows.

There is no admission fee to Select Shows. There will be a cost to ride the different rides and attractions. Select Shows will be determining/setting the cost of each ride.

The wristband prices for this weekend will be Friday and Sunday $28.00 per person, per day. Saturday will be $30.00 per person, per day.

Yes, they are to on a leash at all times.

Yes, Westman Dreams for Kids will be running a progressive 50/50 over the weekend. Habitat for Humanity will be running the beer garden and Pawsitive Communities will be on-site raising awareness on who they are and what they do. The John Howard Society of Brandon will also be managing the parking ($2 per car, per day) at the Riverbank site.

Yes, several vendors have indicated that they have both vegan and gluten free options available.

Yes, Habitat for Humanity Manitoba, Brandon Chapter/Farmery will be running a beer garden at this year’s festival.

 

Food trucks looking to participate in 2020 are asked to email jody@bdnmb.ca the following information:  truck name, menu/concept, social media links, photo of your truck, and 3-4 photos of your food.  This is the minimum we do require.  Currently there is between 7-10 trucks on the waiting list.

Criteria for 2020:
Spots will first be offered to those trucks who participated in the first three events.
We will then contact those on our waiting list to fill remaining spots.  Selection will then be based on: first placed on waiting list, menu/concept, and social media presence.  Thank-you.

Yes, for the first time in the event’s 3-year history…Glenco will be making an appearance.
