With clubs and bars currently closed in the city, a local DJ (DJ Red) has decided to take his unique skill set online so you can dance the night away from the comfort of your own home. He will be hosting a Virtual Dance Party this evening from 9pm to 12am on Twitch. The party’s theme is a “Fancy Pants Dance” where you are encouraged to “dress to impress”. This will be the second time DJ Red has organized such an event, having hosted a very successful “Social Dis-Dance” pandemic party a week ago.
DJ Red (Jared Weir) has been rocking parties in and around Brandon and the Westman area for more than 18 years. About tonight’s formal themed virtual house party, DJ Red told bdnmb.ca ” It’ll be a fun way to dress up and turn up to a mixed bag of party bangers. A great excuse to dust off your formal wear and do some social distance dancing.”
