A local golfer who got his first hole-in-one this weekend didn’t wait long for his second, recording another ace just 48-hours later.
On Saturday, Jared Sowiak had a hole-in-one on the 15th hole at the Pleasant Valley Golf Course. Then 48 hours later at the Wheat City Golf Course the former Vincent Massey Vikings goalie and captain recorded another ace on number 11. Both of the shots were witnessed by friend of BDNMB.CA Derek Sobkow.
Sowiak was nearly at a loss of words today when speaking with bdnmb.ca “it’s been a weekend of a lifetime and a hell of a way to cap off the summer”.
