At approx. 6:20 AM Sunday, a call was received of a vehicle that was driving erratically and almost struck another vehicle while traveling in the 100 block of 18th St.  The vehicle was observed to strike the curb causing 3 of its tires to deflate.  After having also hitting a sign on the side of the roadway, the female driver fled the area on foot.  Members attended and located the driver hiding in a yard in the 100 block of 15th St. The female displayed obvious signs of impairment and was arrested. The 20-year-old Brandon female later provided samples of her breath, which resulted in readings 3 times the legal limit.  She was held in cells until sober, and has been released with a court date of September 14.
