Brandon Man found in Possession of Methamphetamine and Homemade Weapon:
At approximately 7:30 a.m., Police stopped a male in the 100 block of 9th street and was found to have an existing Warrant of Arrest for Breach of Probation. He was arrested on the strength of the Warrant and a subsequent search of his person Police located a homemade weapon and a large quantity of an individually packaged prescription drug and Methamphetamine. The 30-year-old man from Brandon was lodged at the Correctional Centre and will appear in Court today after being charged with Possession Methamphetamine, Possess Weapon Dangerous, Public Mischief and Breach of Recognizance.
