Brandon Police Service Media Release
At 1:12 am, Saturday morning, Police were flagged down and advised that there was a male laying on the roadway near 18th and Richmond. The subsequent investigation revealed that the male had dropped something on the roadway and when he went to retrieve it he was struck by a black truck, which then fled the scene. The victim was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The investigation is continuing.
