On the afternoon of 2024-05-30, police received a report from a property manager to a building in the 100 block of 18th Street. Investigation revealed that on the evening of 2024-05-29, a male suspect was captured on video breaking into a vestibule and then prying open over a dozen mailboxes within the building. On the evening of 2024-05-30, police conducted a pedestrian stop in the 0 hundred block of 9th Street with a 39-year-old male matching the description of video from the Break and Enter. The accused has been lodged at BPS and will appear in court 2024-05-31 for the charge of Break, Enter and Commit Mischief.
