If you're looking to catch some exciting hockey action the MNP Female Hockey Tournament is scheduled to take place in Brandon the weekend of April 1st-3rd. With the Royal Canadian Winter Fair occupying the Keystone Centre games will be played at the Sportsplex and in Carberry.
There are eight Novice teams (ages 7/8) and six Peewee teams (ages 11/12) registered. Teams from SK, MB, and ON are represented. Players from communities as far away as Weyburn, Rankin Inlet, Kenora ,Thompson, Tuelon, Killarney, and Oakville will be participating in the weekends tournament.
There will be a prize table and Progressive 50/50 available over the weekend.
