Police Seek Information in Stolen Vehicle Investigation
Stolen Vehicle
On July 30 at approximately 10:18 p.m., police received a report of a stolen vehicle from the 400 block of 12th Street. A brown four-door Subaru Forester bearing Manitoba license plate LDG 230 was reported stolen sometime between the morning hours and approximately 10:00 p.m. The theft remains under investigation.

Theft Under $5000
On June 18th, 2026, police received a report of a shoplifting incident at a business in the Corral Centre. Several individuals were involved in the theft of merchandise valued at approximately $500. During the investigation, security footage led to the identification of a 41-year-old female suspect.
On July 30th, the female was located and arrested. She was later released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on October 5th, 2026.
Possession of a Weapon / Possession of Prohibited Weapon
On July 30th at 10:29 a.m. police attended to the 600 block of 18th Street North to assist EMS for an aggressive male on the bridge. An extendable baton was located at his feet when arrested by police. He was held in custody to appear in court on the morning of July 31st, 2026.
Assault with a Weapon
On July 30th at approximately 4:15 p.m., police responded to the 900 block of Rosser Avenue after receiving a report from the Medical Transportation Coordination Centre (MTCC) of a male who had been stabbed in the head. The victim sustained a non-life-threatening stab wound.
As a result of the investigation, a 27-year-old male was arrested in connection with the incident. He was lodged at BPS detention cells and will be released on an Undertaking. He is scheduled to appear in court on October 27th, 2026.
A 19-year-old female was later also arrested in connection with the incident. See below.
Assault with a Weapon
On July 30th at 6:53 p.m., police observed a 19-year-old female behind a hotel in the 000 block of 10th Street. Officers had identified the female as being involved in an Assault that had occurred earlier that day at approximately 4:15 p.m.
During the investigation, the female was found to be in possession of a knife. She was also determined to be intoxicated and was arrested without incident. She was transported to BPS detention cells, where she will be held until sober. She will be released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court at a future date.
