On April 23rd at 3:50 pm members from the Brandon Police Service Organized Crime Unit executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a residence on Westaway Bay.
A 56-year-old male, and a 33- and 41-year-old female were arrested inside the home. A search of the residence produced three ounces of Methamphetamine, one ounce of Cocaine and other drug paraphernalia.
As Police were conducting the search an unregistered vehicle pulled into the driveway. Officers approached the vehicle and observed two insecure firearms. A 31,36-, and 29-year-old male were all arrested. Further search of the vehicle confirmed there were two rifles, one shotgun and numerous rounds of ammunition for both weapons. Officers also found an ASP baton, brass knuckles, several knives and 35 grams of meth. The three males from the vehicle and the two females from the house were all charged with numerous drug and weapon related offenses They were all held for court on April 24th, 2024.
