Saturday’s Games Highlights

Smitty’s Terminators 5 Manitoba Thunder 4

Smitty’s rebounded from a 3-0 1st inning deficit to defeat the Thunder and remain undefeated.  Jayda Neiles and Camryn Plouffe scored runs in the bottom of the 5th inning to snap a 3-3 tie.  Alia Yosski had two hits and scored a pair of runs for the Thunder.

Manitoba Angels 4 Westman Magic 1

Denise Hammersley singled, doubled and scored a pair of runs for the Angels.  Cassie Crearer doubled and scored the Magic’s lone run in the bottom of the 1st inning.

Interlake Phillies 11 Eastman Wildcats 7

Interlake came back from a 6-1, 2nd inning deficit.  Emma Goodman walked three times and scored three runs for the Phillies while Abby Lake and Emmi McAuley singled, walked and scored a pair of runs each.  Hannah Berg singled twice and scored a pair of runs for Eastman.

Winnipeg Lightning 7 Central Energy 2

The Lightning scored five runs in the top of the 5th inning and went on to the victory.

Manitoba Thunder 7 Manitoba Angels 6

A four-run 2nd inning helped the Thunder to the victory.  Lilly Kantuluk had a two-run single and scored a run for Thunder while Adria Ruest had three hits.

Central Energy 7 Westman Magic 2

The host team suffered their third straight loss, falling behind 5-0 by the 3rd inning.  Abbi Conrad and Zoey Pearce had two hits and scored two runs apiece for the Energy.

Winnipeg Lightning 10 Eastman Wildcats 3

Kiera Magarall reached base four times and scored three runs to lead the Lightning to the victory.  Abby Kirkness doubled twice and scored twice for Winnipeg.

Smitty’s Terminators 8 Interlake Phillies 1

Jerzy Rigaux singles, walked twice and scored a pair of runs as the Terminators rolled to a fourth straight win.

Smitty’s Terminators 11 Winnipeg Lightning 6

Smitty’s let a 6-0 lead slip away before rallying for the victory.  Annabeth Carlburg went 4-for-4 with four singles and scored three runs for the Terminators as they improved to 5-and-0.

Manitoba Thunder 14 Eastman Wildcats 1

Gaby Delorme, Alia Yerski and Megan Tokar all scored three runs for the Thunder.

Westman Magic 8 Interlake Phillies 7 (8 Innings)

The Magic snapped a three-game losing streak in a back-and-forth game that saw Westman let a 7-4 lead slip away.  Kate-Leigh Heapy scored a pair of runs for the Magic as they kept their medal hopes alive.

Central Energy 8 Manitoba Angels 3
Central scored six runs in the bottom of the 6th inning to come back from 3-2 deficit and move into sole possession of 2nd-place.
