Shortly after midnight, police received a report of an assault, which occurred in the 1000 block of 18th street. A taxi driver was punched in the face by an individual who was not a passenger. The driver did not require any medical attention. The male who committed the assault fled the scene with several other individuals and was located approximately four blocks away. The 43-year-old male was arrested and will be appearing in court on September 9, 2019.
