On September 19, 2022, at approximately 5:00 pm, police responded to the area of Sycamore Drive for report of an attempted robbery. A 15-year-old and a 17-year-old male youth approached the victim wearing masks, brandished a knife and asked him for his phone. The victim was able to run to safety. Both suspects were later located. They were arrested and released to appear in court on charges of Attempt Armed Robbery, Possession of a Weapon, Resist Arrest, and Party to the Offence of Robbery.
