On Friday evening, police responded to an assault call in the 1200 block of Lorne Ave East. Police located a female who reported that her boyfriend had just assaulted her, and officers located the male suspect in the area. A 25-year old male from Brandon was arrested for Domestic Assault. He was later released for court on December 20th, 2018.
Early Saturday morning around 2:30am, police were called to a report of an assault in progress inside a residence in the 300 block of 18th Street. Officers attended and the disturbance was still ongoing inside. Police arrested a 24-year old male from Brandon for Domestic Assault. He was highly intoxicated and was lodged at the Brandon Correctional Centre to appear in court this morning.
