Two people face meth trafficking charges following traffic stop

At approximately 1:00 am police conducted a traffic stop in the 1300 block of Rosser Ave. E as the vehicle had inactive plates. The occupants were observed to have open liquor bottles in plain view which lead to their initial arrests. They were found to be in possession of two bags of meth totaling approximately 15 grams, a bag containing a mixture of Meth and a cutting agent, other drug trafficking paraphernalia, and a set of brass knuckles. A 22-year-old male was arrested on charges of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Meth, Possession of Prohibited Weapon, and Breach of Probation. A 30-year-old female was arrested on charges of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Meth, and Possession of Prohibited Weapon. They will both appear in court on August 8, 2019.
