The U17 Westman Magic upended Smitty’s Terminators 12-4 on Sunday in Winkler to capture the Western Canadian Championship title. They finished off the round robin seeded 3rd with a record of 4-2. The squad then defeated the Abbotsford Outlaws 5-2 and the Lloydminster Liners 13-6 in semi-final action, prior to meeting Smitty’s in the championship tilt.
