Cole Jordan, 2 Wheat Kings selected in 2021 NHL Entry Draft
The Calgary Flames used the 141st overall pick to select Cole Jordan. The left shot defenseman played with the Western Hockey League’s Moose Jaw Warriors the past two seasons. Prior to joining the Warriors, Jordan spent 2-seasons patrolling the blueline for the Brandon Wheat Kings U18 AAA team and 2-years with the Brandon Wheat Kings U15 AAA program.

A pair of Brandon Wheat Kings teammates also heard their names called on Saturday. The Edmonton Oilers selected forward Jake Chiasson in the 4th round with the 116th overall pick. Defensemen Vincent Iorio went 55th overall (2nd round) to the Washington Capitals
