The Access Credit Union Grey Cup Tour will be making a stop in Brandon at the Summer Fair on June 4, 2025. In total, the Grey Cup will be making 40 stops in the Province leading to the 112th Grey Cup in Winnipeg this November including Dauphin (Countryfest), Rockin’ the Fields of Minnedosa, and more.
A co-ed adult volleyball tournament will be taking place in Neepawa on May 31 in support of Habitat for Humanity Manitoba-Neepawa Chapter. Registration is presently open ($300 per team) and Teams must have at least 3 women on the court.+
The Brandon Marlins 30th Anniversary golf tournament will be held on Aug 9th at the Wheat City Golf Course . A banquet is to follow at the Dome Building.
For area soccer enthusiasts, the Canadian Women’s Soccer Team is set to face Haiti in Winnipeg at IG Field on May 31.
Seattle Kraken fifth-rounder Clarke Caswell is headed to Denver next season. He captained Swift Current in the WHL this season. Caswell is also a former U18 AAA Brandon Wheat King.

The the first Hole-in-One for the 2025 season was recoded at the Shilo Golf & Country Club over the weekend. Kevin McMillan used his pitching wedge on the 125 yard hole 6 to accomplish the feat.
