Awesome Race for Breath returns to the streets of Brandon

Are you a fan of the Amazing Race™ Canada? If you answered YES!, The Lung Association's Awesome Race for Breath is your solution! Teams of two race through the community to solve challenges.  The goal is to complete the course as quickly as possible AND raise money to help people breathe easier. The Awesome Race for Breath has raised $42,500 for lung health in Manitoba over the past three years in Brandon. With your help we can meet, or exceed, that amount in 2017. We invite you to register today! Teams of 2 are required to raise a minimum of $200 to race, and there's race incentives (like an early start) for teams who raise the most! Teams leave the start line at The Town Centre in Brandon on Saturday, October 28th. Registration is now open and can be found here.

CTV Presents the World Broadcast Premiere of The Tragically Hip Tour Documentary LONG TIME RUNNING

TORONTO, Sept. 14, 2017 /CNW/ - On the heels of last night's big buzz World Premiere at the 42nd Toronto International Film Festival, and a cross-Canada theatrical launch beginning today from Elevation Pictures, CTV today announced the television broadcast premiere of LONG TIME RUNNING, the powerful feature documentary about iconic Canadian band The Tragically Hip and their momentous final tour. The special CTV Feature Presentation premieres across Canada on Sunday, November 12 at 8 p.m. ET. On Monday, November 13, the commercial-free theatrical version of LONG TIME RUNNING begins streaming on Canada's premium TV streaming service CraveTV. From acclaimed directors Jennifer Baichwal and Nicholas De Pencier, LONG TIME RUNNING is presented by Bell Media and Elevation Pictures and is produced by Banger Films in association with Shed Creative, a division of Universal Music Canada. Joe Beeverz releases limited edition menu for Food Truck Warz

This weekend Joe Beeverz Bar and Grill kicks off a new limited edition menu only available at Food Truck Warz.  The menu is highlighted by a King Crab poutine, which includes a whole king crab leg with every order.   Chad Wallin said they wanted to ensure they provided those attending with some unique items that is away from their regular menu offering.  In total they will be offering 6 different menu items which are as inventive as they are tasty. In addition to setting up shop at Food Truck Warz, Joe Beeverz also offers a full catering service which is perfect for your next office party, birthday party, or event.
