Dean Brody comes to Westman Communications Group Place

Dean Brody comes to Westman Communications Group Place for “Beautiful Freakshow” Tour Brandon, May 13, 2017 BRANDON, MB – The Keystone Centre and Dauphin’s Countryfest are honoured to present the upcoming performance of Dean Brody for his “Beautiful Freakshow” tour on May 13, 2016 in Westman Communications Group Place. In the midst of an exhilarating album launch, Dean Brody brings his brand new album, Beautiful Freakshow, coast to coast through local media appearances, and country radio listener events, culminating in a special live performance in Toronto, to kick-off the announcement of national tour dates, beginning April 2017. Tickets officially go on sale November 4, 2016, with pre-sale beginning November 2  and 3. VIP tickets will include premium seats, a pre-show meet and greet, photo opportunity, a pre-show acoustic performance and more. 2015 CCMA Rising Star and reigning BCCMA Female Artist of the Year,  Madeline Merlo will perform in advance of Brody taking to the stage. Fun loving, Top 5 Canadian country radio act, James Barker Band will also be opening the action-packed show across Canada. The past year saw Brody take home a JUNO   Award for Country Album of the Year, along with 4 CCMA Awards for the top selling digital Canadian country single of all-time, “Bring Down the House”. Beautiful Freakshow is Brody’s sixth album, and it’s one that takes risks and delves outside of the comfort zone of traditional country, with songs such as the progressive title track, featuring a rap vocal from Halifax native Shevy Price, and the mellow reggae vibe invoked from “Beautiful Girl”. And yet, the record manages to simultaneously stay true to what many fans have come to love and expect from Brody, with traditional tracks destined to be classics, such as, “Time”, “8th Day” and “Blueberry Sky”, which  features iconic country legend, Vince Gill on the guitar. Keystone Centre general manager, Neil Thomson said, “"We are thrilled to have a great Canadian country entertainer like Dean Brody at Westman Communications Group Place. It has been a while since we have had a significant country act and we can't think of anyone better than Dean to fit that bill.  We know it will be a great concert for all of Westman." “After having Dean headline Canada Day at Dauphin’s Countryfest, I can't wait to show Westman what Dean Brody is all about! Get ready to be amazed!” said Rob Waloschuk, Dauphin’s Countryfest. Marianas Trench Concert Postponed to February 2, 2017, Due to Illness

Courtesty:  Keystone Centre News Release  BRANDON, MB –The first 10 shows of the “Marianas Trench and the Last Crusade” tour set to begin on November 1st in Prince George, BC have been postponed due to an illness within the band. The Brandon, MB concert at Westman Communications Group Place on November 12, 2016 has been rescheduled to February 2, 2017. Tickets for the original concert date will be honoured on the rescheduled date. “No one is more disappointed about this than I am,” says frontman Josh Ramsay. “Unfortunately, we must postpone some of our upcoming tour dates. My throat infection and resulting scar tissue is serious enough that my doctor's diagnosis was for me to not sing a note until the New Year. However, I can't handle this forcing me to cancel a second tour in a row completely, so I've chosen to postpone the first half of the tour to give my voice a little extra time to recuperate. With enough vocal rest and medicine, I should be back in fighting shape in no time. Hope to see you all soon!” About the Keystone Centre: The non-profit Keystone Centre strives to be the premier service oriented, multi-functional, community minded facility in Manitoba, hosting sporting and entertainment events, fairs and agricultural exhibitions, conferences and conventions, clubs and community activities.
