Brandon Firefigher/Paramedics responded to the Brandon Landfill on Friday afternoon for a hay fire. Crews were able to extinguish the burning hay, which did no damage to any nearby buildings. Saturday afternoon Brandon Fire and Emergency Services responded to a grass/brush fire south of Brandon, off of Road 46N. The fire was threatening a house, and burning rapidly through dry grass and brush.
