Brandon Event Scheduled to Break World Record

An attempt to break the current world record of 1580 people dressed as Superheroes in one area is scheduled to take place on October the 1st in Brandon, MB. The event, being dubbed as “Grim Acres Be A Superhero in The Fight Against Cancer”, is being held from 1-4 pm inside the Manitoba Room of the Keystone Centre.
Everyone is invited to attend, and costumes (recognized superheroes from books, movies, comics) will have to adhere to the rules of the Guiness criteria. Costumes will need to be approved by Guiness prior to the event. Those looking to submit character ideas are asked to do so by February the 28th.
Admission is free, and donations for the Canadian Cancer Society will be accepted at the door. Both music and entertainment will be provided .
