Brandon’s Josh Elmes, a 6’2” defenceman, has agreed to play with the ECHL’s Rapid City Rush for the 2017-18 season.  Rapid City will be coached this season by former Brandon Wheat King Danny Tetrault. Earlier today BDNMB.CA was informed by Tetrault that he expects their hockey club will be bigger, tougher and have additional skill this season, due to an affiliation agreement with the Minnesota Wild and Iowa Wild, Elmes, who played last year in the SPHL with Evansville, was a fan favorite and is excited for the future with Rapid City.
