Impaired Driving leads to Charges

At approximately 4:30am on Saturday August 8^th, Police were dispatched to a disturbance in the 300 block of 11^th St. While in the area, a vehicle pulled out in front of Police in such a manner, it led to the vehicle being stopped. The subsequent investigation revealed that the driver was impaired by alcohol and a 21year-old female was thrown from vehicle. The victim was transported to the Brandon Regional Health Centre for her injuries, and the 22year-old male driver was charged with Driving while Impaired Causing Bodily Harm and Operation Equal to or Exceeding 80mg% and is scheduled to appear in Court at a later date.
