Police Investigating Beer Vendor Break-In; Twisted Tea Theft Results in Arrest
Theft Under $5000
On September 15th at 2:58 p.m. a female stole two cases of Twisted Teas from a vendor in the 000 block of 10th Street. A description was provided of the female, and she was soon located by police at 9th Street and Pacific handing out cans of Twisted Teas to her friends. The female was arrested and later released with a future court date of November 23rd, 2026.
Theft / Mischief = Still Under Investigation
On September 16th at 5:03 a.m., BPS responded to a report of a break, enter and theft at a hotel beer vendor in the 200 block of 18th Street North. An employee reported that two masked suspects smashed the glass in the front door, entered the vendor, and each stole two cases of beer before fleeing the scene. The pair is believed to have headed south. Police cleared the business upon arrival, but the suspects were no longer on scene or in the area. Investigators have requested additional video footage, and the incident remains under investigation.
