Over the next several weeks bdnmb.ca will be profiling many of the different food trucks participating in Brandon’s first ever Food Truck Warz. This years event is being held inside the Victoria Inn parking lot on September 16th & 17th. Today, we take a look at Island Fusion, a very popular food truck out of Winnipeg.
Island Fusion provides quality food at reasonable prices with a menu that is simple, yet explosive with flavours. The menu takes on concepts of the past traditions, and utilizes local ingredients to create fresh and tasty dishes including jerk chicken wings, Roti (chicken or beef), Aloo Pies, Island Tacos, and Civiche con Tostones to name a few. All of their products are homemade including their breads. The final product is a combination of traditional and modern Caribbean cuisine created by a passionate and creative chef, Richard Mohammad.
