Police Charge Three in Separate Theft and Assault Incidents

Theft Under $5,000

On Saturday afternoon, on August 22^nd, around 1:20pm, Police received a report of a theft of merchandise from a store in the 900 block of 18^th St. North. The 35year-old suspect was located in the area, charged accordingly and released on an Undertaking with a scheduled Court date in October.

Assault Charges

At approximately 10:40pm on Saturday night, Police were advised that an assault that had just taken place when the complainant was almost pushed out of a moving vehicle. The subsequent Police investigation led to both persons involved to be charged with one count of assault. A 46year-old male and a 53year-old female were released on an Undertakings and will appear in Court in November.
