At 2:40 AM today, an alarm was received from the Wheat City Golf Course. Officers attended and found the clubhouse building had been entered and some electronics stolen. Further investigation resulted in the arrest of a 32-year-old Brandon male, located in the area. He has been charged with break, enter and theft, and possession of property obtained by crime. The accused male was also the subject of outstanding warrants from Brandon for possession of stolen property and from Virden for Impaired Driving. He will appear in court this morning.
