At 8 pm on Friday night, a female attended the Brandon Police Service and complained that her ex-boyfriend had pointed a gun at her and threatened her and her family. The 28-year-old Brandon male was located at his residence and arrested without incident. He was charged with Utter Threats, Point a Firearm, Possess a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose and Possess a Weapon contrary to a Court Order. The “firearm” was located and discovered to be a pellet pistol closely resembling a real firearm. The male was lodged at BCC for court in the morning.
