Miniota/Elkhorn C-Hawks skate their way to Manitoba Senior ‘A’ Provincial title
In a thrilling culmination of skill, determination, and teamwork, the Miniota/Elkhorn C-Hawks triumphed in the Provincial A Hockey Championship defeating the Ste Anne Aces 2 games to 1 in their best of 3 series.
Miniota/Elkhorn won the first game of the series 5-4, before dropping a 7-2 decision in game 2. They were then able to rebound in game 3, scoring a decisive 6-2 victory while claiming their second provincial championship. Game 3 of the series was played Sunday afternoon in Virden.
The Miniota/Elkhorn C-Hawks advanced to the Provincial Senior A Final after winning the 2024 Tiger Hills Hockey League Championship, defeating the Killarney Shamrocks in the League Final. The Ste. Anne Aces advanced to the Provincial Senior A Final after winning the South Eastern Manitoba Hockey League Championship, defeating the Warren Mercs in a Best-of-Seven series.
