Pair of Brandonites charged with possession of meth

At 7:09 AM, police received a report from a business located in the 300 blk of 10th St. that a male had just broken into the business and stole a cash box containing a small quantity of cash. The male was seen fleeing the business east bound on Lorne Ave. The Police Service Dog Unit attended and tracked to a residence in the 300 blk of 6th St. A 41-year-old male resident was checked as he left the residence. The male was found in possession of a set of brass knuckles and a small quantity of methamphetamine. He was released on a promise To Appear in court on December 14, charged with Possession of a Prohibited Weapon and Possession of Methamphetamine. A 30-year-old Brandon female was also checked after leaving the residence. She was also found to be in possession of a small quantity of methamphetamine.
