On August 10, 2023, at approximately 5:30 am, police responded to a report of a break and enter to a residence on Hawthorn Crescent. A resident awoke to seeing an individual wearing a ski mask in the home. The suspect fled after being discovered. Police Service Dog Unit attempted to track the suspect with negative results. It is not believed anything was stolen, and that the suspect gained entry through an unlocked door.
