A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for Brandon & surrounding area. It says we could see a severe thunderstorm develop late this afternoon and this evening.
“Conditions are favourable for the development of dangerous thunderstorms that may be capable of producing damaging wind gusts, damaging hail and torrential rain,” Environment Canada said in its alert.
Environment Canada says these storms are capable of producing strong wind gusts and large hail which can damage property or cause an injury.
