Smoked & Sauced Mobile BBQ, a local food truck in the city, will be hosting an event in support of the efforts to help rebuild the Brandon Boxing Club. Jayson McCallum, chef and owner of Smoked & Sauced, tells bdnmb.ca that the day’s menu will include pulled pork sandwiches, fries, poutine, pulled pork poutine, perogies, pulled pork perogies, and a pulled pork cheeseburger. The Brandon Boxing Club lost basically everything in the devastating fire in downtown Brandon on May 19th. With the help of some of it’s major suppliers, Jayson said that 100% of the proceeds will go towards the rebuild of the Brandon Boxing Club.
The event will be held in the back Brandon Sun parking lot on Saturday June 23/2018 from 11am – 7 pm. Brandon Bouncy Castles will be onsite with a variety bouncy castles.
