An 29 year old Brandon man was arrested on Saturday afternoon and charged with Theft Under $5000 x 2, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Breach of an Undertaking. An officer was investigating two thefts from a liquor store in the previous two weeks and identified the suspect through surveillance video. The officer located the suspect in the 600 block of 10th St on Saturday afternoon and as he was stopping him to arrest him, observed him throw away several small baggies. The baggies were recovered and contained methamphetamine. The male was arrested and released to appear in court in September.
