Singer, guitarist and songwriter Valdy will be hitting the stage at the Brandon Riverbank for a free show on Thursday, September 7. Valdy has two Juno Awards (Folk Singer of the Year and Folk Entertainer of the Year), a total of seven Juno nominations and four Gold albums to his credit. He was inducted into the Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame in 2005 and his best known song is “Play Me a Rock ‘n’ Roll Song”. The show begins at 6:30pm with opening act, Brandon’s own Chris Ghidoni Music.
