At around 5:00 Thursday evening, police and fire crews responded to the intersection of 26th St and Park Ave for a crash involving an SUV and an excavator.
It appears as though an SUV left the roadway, travelled down into a deep trench created by the construction, and struck an excavator before coming to a stop.
