Brandon Police Service Media Release
On Saturday evening, Brandon Police received a report of an assault that occurred at Brandon Correctional Centre. An inmate used a modified toothbrush to stab a second inmate, who received three small puncture wounds. He received medical treatment for his wounds. A 27 year old Brandon man was arrested and charged with Assault with a Weapon and Breaching his Undertaking for possessing the weapon. He will appear for remand in the morning.
