Brandon, MB – Today, two local start-ups hosted an event to officially open their new office and shop location at 402 Park Avenue East.
CW2 is a full service construction company providing general contracting for commercial, industrial, and residential construction. Where project bonding and COR certification usually takes five to seven years, CW2 achieved both within their first nine months. CW2’s credited projects range from less than a thousand to millions of dollars in scope.
When their doors opened in October of 2016, they managed projects with two field people, today, 24 months later; they lead a team of 20 people across multiple projects with competing timelines. They bring their technical knowledge, experience, and resourcefulness to the delivery of construction services. Guardian Fencing Ltd. is a fully encompassed fencing company that can meet all fencing requirements and applications. They serve customers in Manitoba and Saskatchewan with a variety of fencing applications. They are most proud of their commitment to service and of the 30,000 feet of fence recently completed on CFB Shilo. Crews worked nine months straight through the winter to deliver the fence to Defence Construction Canada on schedule. The team encountered long cold winter days, several drill bits, seven changes that added and changed fence, dealt with, and waited on, CN Railway for a gate issue and still completed the fence in the agreed upon time frame. This was a huge win for Guardian and CFB Shilo.
Both companies are owned by entrepreneurs that create a diverse and robust industry and project management skill set.
The companies are hosting a joint open house this Thursday, January 31, 2019 at 5:00 PM to showcase their new location and announce LaBuick into the group.
