A new hotel will be built in Rivers by Steel Creek Developers. The announcement was made official on their Facebook page earlier today. According to the post, design and engineering of the hotel have already begun. Steel Creek Developers is a family owned and run development business whose previous projects include a 29-room hotel/18-suite adult living complex in Souris. No timetable was provided for the build and the number of rooms was not released at present. We will provide additional updates on the project as they are made available.
**Update, May 19** There will be pet friendly rooms as well as a number of different room layouts. They plan to be open January 2020. There won’t be a bar in the hotel.
