Brandon residents looking to welcome the New Year with music, dancing and cultural tradition will have the chance to do so at the upcoming New Year’s Eve Zabava, taking place Wednesday, Dec. 31 at the Victoria Inn Hotel & Convention Centre.

The celebration will bring the community together for an evening filled with live entertainment, traditional Ukrainian music, and a festive atmosphere designed to carry guests into the early hours of 2026. Doors open at 5 p.m., with supper served at 6 p.m., followed by live music beginning at 9 p.m. and continuing through midnight and beyond.

Presented by the Ukrainian Musicians Association, the Zabava will feature performances by Brandon Hachkowski and Ukrainian Tradition, along with additional guest musicians from across Western Canada. Attendees can expect a lively mix of classic and contemporary Ukrainian music, along with plenty of opportunities to dance and celebrate.

In addition to the entertainment, the evening will include raffle draws and door prizes, adding to the excitement of the night. Tickets are priced at $65 in advance, with proceeds supporting the ongoing efforts of the Ukrainian Musicians Association.

As 2025 comes to a close, the New Year’s Eve Zabava promises a warm and welcoming send-off — and a joyful start to the year ahead — at one of Brandon’s premier event venues.
